iOS 11.01 is the first update and comes one week after the launch of iOS 11.0. It was meant for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The company did not release any betas specifically to the developers before iOS 11.0.1 was released. It is a minor release with bug fixes and security and enhancements.
Some of the New Features Have Been Included For IOS 11. iOS 11 namely document scanning in Notes, the new Files app, indoor maps and lane guidance for Maps, Live Photos editing, Do Not Disturb While Driving, a new Messages app drawer, payment integration in Messages, new multitasking features in the iPad, a new Control Center and a improved version of Siri.
A bug was reported after iOS 11 was released. Bluetooth and Wi-fi could not be fully disabled. Email syncing and battery life issues were also major causes an update was required.
What is specifically included?
Although Apple restrict itself revealing more about the release notes, the summary of the download and install section only says that iOS 11.0.1 "includes bug fixes and Improvements For Your IPhone Or IPad."
With this update, Apple devices are expected to run smoother.
